Come see how the world could be.
Inspired by the ancient Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice and Hades and Persephone, Hadestown: Teen Edition takes audiences on an unforgettable journey to the underworld, where love, hope, and fate collide.
Young dreamer Orpheus believes his music can change the world, but when Eurydice is drawn to the promises of security offered by the powerful Hades, Orpheus must follow her into Hadestown and attempt the impossible: bring her home. Along the way, their story intertwines with that of Hades and Persephone, whose fractured relationship has thrown the world above and below into imbalance.
Featuring a haunting, folk- and jazz-inspired score, Hadestown reimagines a timeless myth as a moving story about love, sacrifice, trust, and the courage to keep singing even when the ending is already known.
Winner of eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Hadestown is a powerful theatrical experience that asks what happens when we choose hope in a world that tells us not to.
