Event Meditation Walks on The Baker Museum Sculpture Trail Laurie Lyons , founder and director of Zen & the Arts Engage your senses and explore the sculptures nestled within the lush gardens of the Kimberly K. Querrey and Louis A. Simpson Cultural Campus and Pelican Bay. Guided by local Zen teacher Laurie Lyons, this one-hour guided meditation walk takes participants along The Baker Museum Sculpture Trail. The walk connects gentle movement with a grounding outdoor meditation session, including group discussion and reflections on the art and landscape on display throughout the scenic trail. The Meditation Walks will depart from Norris Garden. Please bring a water bottle and wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing. Participants are invited to bring a yoga mat, blanket or cushion from home. No prior experience with meditation or art is necessary — simply bring your curiosity and a willingness to explore.
